On July 29, representatives of the LIFE.VISTULA.PL project team took part in the first edition of the Outdoor Tourist Fair, which took place on the market square in Pszczyna. At the information stand, the project team was joined by employees of RDOŚ Katowice who take care of nature reserves in the Silesian Voivodeship.
Tourists were informed about the natural attractions of the Pszczyna poviat, which were implemented as part of the LIFE.VISTULA.PL project. The meeting at the market square in Pszczyna was an opportunity to talk about the observation tower at Lake Goczałkowickie in Wisła Mała, commissioned at the beginning of the year, as well as about the artificial island for birds – Bird’s Barrel – built on the reservoir and the Natura 2000 area – Upper Vistula Valley. Educational folders and promotional gadgets were also distributed.
